The Cardiox™ sensor captures diagnostic-quality cardiovascular data in around 30 seconds, using the body as the sensor, in the clinic or the patient's home.
How it works
No cuff, no leads, no specialist appointment. The body itself is the sensor, captured at the point of care or at home, analysed in the cloud, and returned to the clinician as findings they can act on.
The Cardiox™ sensor captures diagnostic-quality cardiovascular data in around 30 seconds, using the body as the sensor, in the clinic or the patient's home.
Data flows to Cardiovue™, an AI-enabled diagnostic cloud that delivers timely analysis, findings and diagnosis.
The clinician receives clear findings and can intervene early, a planned pathway instead of a crisis presentation.
The product family
The Cardiox™ sensing technology sits at the centre of the platform. Around it, purpose-built devices and an AI cloud make it usable anywhere care happens.
An advanced electronic cardiovascular sensor, refined over 15 years, that uses the body itself as the sensor, enabling unique and rapid out-of-hospital cardiovascular data collection.
An AI-enabled analytical and diagnostic Software-as-a-Medical-Device cloud suite, delivering timely analysis, findings and diagnosis, and novel remote cardiovascular care insights.
Cardiox™ embedded into a fit-for-purpose handheld Android tablet, supporting patients across a wide range of cognitive and technical abilities, and replacing the need for separate patient devices.
Cardiox™ embedded into a handheld, Bluetooth-enabled device, a lower-cost option that keeps the platform’s core capability while extending its reach.
Key differentiators
Cardiox™ enables rapid, out-of-hospital cardiovascular data collection without cuffs or leads, diagnostic-quality data in seconds.
Cardiovue™ turns that data into comprehensive remote cardiovascular care insights, not just raw traces.
CarePortal™ is designed for patients of wide-ranging abilities, the platform reaches the people who need it, not just the tech-confident.
Regulatory pathway
Docomed’s team has taken two previous generations of medical devices from concept to Class IIa CE mark and commercial rollout. Artemis is being developed to the same standard, with FDA 510(k) clearance planned for its initial diagnostic capability.
